If you prefer, you may spend your entire time on your own, investigating and exlporing While at the Baths you can snorkel to through the crystal clear water around the huge boulders and even make your way through some swim through tunnels if you’re an adventurous swimmer.

There are 3 different sandy beach coves within the Baths and we will visit two of them – Spring Bay and Devils Bay. The Baths get its name from the African Slaves who first inhabited the BVI during the Rum Trading Era of the 1700’s.

Legend has it that these secluded coves were used as a private bathing area for the slaves during this period. Some naturalists have gone as far as to call the Baths the eighth wonder of the world. The huge granite boulders seemed to be tossed around chaotic manor that only can be appreciated in person.

After exploring The Baths, the Patouche crew will set the sails and head down the Sir Frances Drake Channel, to Cooper Island. Cooper Island Beach Club for lunch at their newly renovated restaurant right on the beach.  After a delightful lunch you can either snorkel right off the beach at a uniques "shallow reef" or just relax in the beach chairs provided for you onshore. After exploring and snorkelling and relaxing at Cooper Island, we will once again set the sails and enjoy another amazing sail as we head back to our location at the Hodges Creek Marina.

Lunch at the Cooper Island Beach Club, relaxing on the beach and of course exploring the historic Baths, makes this day an absolute Highlight of a vacation.
