Our professional certified guides and drivers will show you the best of their Island home from the comfort and safety of your safari bus.
After boarding “Shamwari” our 48’ sailing catamaran we'll set sail for our crossing of the “Sir Francis Drake Channel” to Great Harbour at Peter Island. Peter Island is one of the many privately owned islands in the BVI, it is currently owned by the VanAndel family whose father was one of the two founders of the Amway Corporation. Great Harbour has some spectacular snorkeling spots and we will be able to snorkel at 2 distinctly different spots. Great Harbour, which is famous for being the last anchorage of the ill fated “R.M.S. Rhone” which sank in 1867 is one of the most popular snorkel spots in the BVI and regardless of your snorkeling experience you’ll find the snorkeling easy and relaxing in the calm waters surrounding Great Harbor.
We’ll take our time to explore and get to know the areas friendly fish before we re-board Shamwari and motor over to nearby Oceans 7 Beach Bar, where you will have lunch (not included) After lunch you might want to sunbathe on the beach, relax in one of the many hammocks or snorkel the reef which has a very nice 40’ deep coral wall. The coral here is pristine and the perfect habitat for numerous reef fish and its also a great spot to take underwater photos of the colorful inhabitants like the Blue Parrot Fish, Green Sea Turtles and the Yellowhead Wrasse. On our smooth sail home you'll enjoy a fun sailing lesson from our friendly and knowledgeable crew and enjoy some interesting stories about the colorful history of the British Virgin Islands.
