ITINERARY: This is the perfect trip for our guests who want to make the most of their short time in the BVI and especially enjoy the world famous Baths.
As we head up the Sir Frances Drake Channel, our knowledgeable crew will share the history of our islands and all of the amazing sites along the way. Once on Virgin Gorda, we'll anchor at our mooring, right in the heart of The Baths. You will have plenty of time to take our guided snorkel and walking tour through the unique granite boulders. If you prefer, you may spend your entire time on your own, investigating and exlporing while at the Baths you can snorkel through the crystal clear water around the huge boulders and even make your way through some swim through tunnels if you’re an adventurous swimmer.
| There are 3 different sandy beach coves within the Baths and we will visit two of them – Spring Bay and Devils Bay. The Baths get its name from the African Slaves who first inhabited the BVI during the Rum Trading Era of the 1700’s. Legend has it that these secluded coves were used as a private bathing area for the slaves during this period. Some naturalists have gone as far as to call the Baths the eighth wonder of the world. The huge granite boulders seemed to be tossed around chaotic manor that only can be appreciated in person. |
